After many months in production, we are now getting towards the point that we can be fairly confident about when we will be in a position to release Greater Eastern.

The release date will therefore be September 8th 2010.

To allow us to ensure we produce enough, we will be opening a preorder for this product a bit nearer the release date. At this stage of the MSTS market, the risk of over ordering and being left with unrequired stock is very high, so preordering will help us to gauge demand for this route while preventing disappointment due to misjudging initial demand.

Greater Eastern vs Great Eastern 2

You may have noticed a change of name appearing on the site for this route changing the name to Greater Eastern, GE2 was a working title, and now given that we have abandoned the concept of a standalone version of the route this seems a more appropriate name.

This stock pack covers the Class 155 2 Car Diesel Multiple Unit built by Leyland and the Hunslet-Barclay conversions into single car Class 153's.

These all new models will come in multiple liveries, along with a representation of the Class 153 cab and the Railwave Class 153 sounds.
